Constantemente usa sus redes sociales para aplaudir el cuerpo femenino, en todas sus hermosas presentaciones. Por otro lado, siempre se ha mostrado en contra del uso de photoshop en las revistas. Esto por generar estereotipos de mujeres inexistentes que sólo logran crear una baja autoestima en el resto de la comunidad femenina.“Throughout my teens I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I was fucking funny looking. Después hace mención acerca del comienzo de su carrera, de cómo las personas hablaban de muchas maneras sobre la forma en que se veía. Diciéndole que era muy valiente por tener tanta confianza en ella misma. Algo que ella no entendía, ya que, ¿Por qué no se debería de sentir cómoda en su propia piel?
Para Lena esta portada significa que la industria se pondrá más creativa porque el cuerpo femenino se empezará a aceptar como es. Gracias Lena Dunham por tu #GirlPower e inspiración y por hacer esta lucha en el nombre de todas.
